Katie Milner is a successful and proven race-winning driver, currently competing in the Ginetta GT5 challenge.

Returning from a successful 2018 Ginetta series, where she competed as the only female racer, she has her sights set firmly on reaching the podium this year.

This year Katie will build upon her outstanding track record in other disciplines of motorsport, having started in Auto-grass track racing where she achieved five separate junior titles in four consecutive seasons. Katie then progressed to circuit racing and became the first female to win the Junior Touring Car championship, with eight wins and eleven podiums in a single season, as well as a yet-to-be-matched championship winning margin of 62 points.

In addition to her racing achievements, Katie is a prominent advocate for widening representation in motorsport. She is an ambassador for the Dare To Be Different foundation, which inspires diversity in motorsport and encourages females to become involved at all levels, as well as brand ambassador for London Electric Vehicle Co (part of Geely Motors) for 2018.

Other achievements include:

  • British Women Racing Drivers Club GoldStar winner (2017)

  • British Automobile Club’s most successful female racer

  • Hull Daily Mail Sporting Champions Awards’ Sportswoman of the Year (2017)

  • Invited by Susie Wolff (Williams F1 test driver and former Mercedes DTM team driver) to speak at F1 Live in London ahead of the 2017 British GP

  • Showcased the first London Electric Taxi at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2017

This season Katie has teamed with Merlin International and will be backed by key sponsors Swift Group, Snap-On Tools UK, Richardson Transport, LMA Aerosols and Harc Health.

She is mentored by Le Mans winner and Bentley Motors factory driver, Guy Smith, who supports her competitive development, and also maintains a strong social media following in excess of 10,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
